Let’s Talk About Sex with Dr. Chelsea Wakefield
MEMBERS & NON-MEMBERS –
The messages we absorb about sex – from our upbringing, our religious teachings, our partners and from society – are full of contradictions and often insufficient for women to embrace a meaningful sexuality for herself and with a partner. “Let’s Talk About Sex with Dr. Chelsea Wakefield,” Ph.D., LCSW, sex and relationship therapist, and director of the UAMS Couples Center, will shed light on some of your most intimate questions. Dr. Wakefield will help us untangle some of the confusions about what sex means, our lack of “sexual voice,” how we heal from sexual wounding and the frustrating lack of desire so many women experience. She will invite us to look at sex through a new lens and define who we really are as sexual beings.
Join us on June 23 for a pop-up book shop selling Wakefield’s latest book, “The Labyrinth of Love: The Path to a Soulful Relationship.” Signature happy hour hosted by Lost Forty Punchy and Raduno’s starts at 5:30 p.m. and the program starts at 6 p.m.
